Baby Time

Perfect for children from birth to 18 months. These sessions include songs, rhymes and stories for children and their caregivers.

You can choose to bring your own shaker, scarf and a comfortable mat for you and your child (e.g. yoga mat).

Baby Time - Hamra Centre Library (in the West Torrens Auditorium)
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays during school terms
Time: 10.30am to 11am
Location: West Torrens Auditorium
Bookings are not required.

Toddler Time

Story Time

Enjoy stories, songs and crafts. Recommended for pre-school aged children, 3 - 5 years old.

Auslan Story Time - Hamra Centre Library (in the Children's area)

Join us for some special Auslan Story Time sessions. Run in collaboration with The Deaf Butterfly Effect, these sessions will be run during our regular Story Times. Suitable for preschool aged children.

Little Bang Discovery Club

Little Bang is a free 4-week, hands-on science program for 4 to 5 year olds and their caregivers in the Hamra Centre Library.

It combines everyday objects and experiences with genuine scientific enquiry methods that children will enjoy. Each family will use their library card to borrow a Little Bang Discovery Box filled with activities.

School Holiday Program

Our school holiday program (SHP) offers a range of activities and events during the school holidays. The program is available approximately two weeks before the holidays begin.
