Are you a skilled and experienced driver who is happy to assist participants in our Community Transport program as a volunteer Community Bus Driver?

Our Community Transport program frequently transports older residents to shopping centres and other locations in a small or large bus.

If you are a reliable person who is happy to drive people to and from different locations in the community, this could be the perfect role for you!

To apply for this role you will need:

good customer service skills
ability to deal with passengers in a sensitive manner
ability to interact with a diverse range of people
understanding of the road rules
significant driving experience

You will also need to either have, or complete:

National Police Clearance
Working with Children check
Manual Handling certificate
Provide First Aid

All certificates and training can be provided by the City of West Torrens at no cost to the volunteer. Vehicle licenses must be paid for and arranged by the volunteer.
