Are you a friendly and approachable person who is happy to assist participants in our our Community Transport program as a volunteer Community Bus Helper?

Our Community Transport program frequently transports older residents to shopping centres and other locations and it’s important to have someone available to help residents with their seatbelts and mobility aids.

If you are a sociable person who is happy to chat and engaging with people in the community, this could be the perfect role for you!

To apply for this role you will need:

good customer service skills
ability to deal with passengers in a sensitive manner
ability to interact with a diverse range of people

You will also need to either have, or complete:

National Police Clearance
Working with Children check
Manual Handling certificate
Provide First Aid

All certificates and training can be provided by the City of West Torrens at no cost to the volunteer.
