AdaptWest Regional Climate Partnership

AdaptWest is a regional climate partnership between the cities of West Torrens, Port Adelaide Enfield and Charles Sturt, with support from Green Adelaide, aimed at enhancing climate resilience in western Adelaide.

The region faces real and growing climate challenges: hotter summers, more frequent extreme heat days, reduced rainfall, rising sea levels and increasing pressure on our natural ecosystems and infrastructure.

To help address these issues, the 3 councils have prepared a new roadmap for building a cooler, healthier and more climate-resilient Western Adelaide.

The plan focuses on 5 areas where we can make the biggest difference:
