Are you a punctual, friendly and organised person who would enjoy setting up the Sun Room for the Craft and Art Space and then advising participants who would like to use the machines?

Our Craft & Art Space needs volunteers to provide a welcoming learning environment where participants can share sewing, knitting, crocheting and other craft and art skills in a relaxed social setting.

If you are a crafty and social person with knowledge of knitting and crocheting skills who is willing to learn a few other skills (such as how to operate a simple badge maker), contact us about this role!

To apply for this role you will need:

Ability to work with another volunteer
Ability to be welcoming and approachable
Basic level of fitness, such as to move chairs and sewing machines

You will also need to either have, or complete:

National Police Clearance
Working with Children check
Manual Handling certificate

All certificates and training can be provided by the City of West Torrens at no cost to the volunteer.
