Building on the success of our 2025 Westside Fringe, we're proud to announce our expansion as a Fringe council in 2026.

As part of our commitment to supporting the arts, we're thrilled to once again offer free venue hire and no ticket splits for Fringe artists including the following community facilities :

Lockleys Community Room

Lockleys Community Room

This facility features a spacious hall, fully equipped kitchen, and convenient storeroom. With 2 adjacent public playgrounds and ample greenspace, it’s an ideal venue for family-friendly or children’s events.

Apex Park Community Facility

Apex Park Community Facility

Apex Park Community Facility is the perfect venue for children’s shows, offering a scenic setting with a creek, ducks, ample greenspace, and an onsite public playground. The hall features floor-to-ceiling glass windows that provide stunning views of the lush surroundings. The hall’s unique T-shape design allows for flexible use; you can either use it as a single T-shaped space or divide it into 2 rectangular halls with a retractable wall, each accommodating up to 30 people.

Cowandilla Community Room

Cowandilla Community Room

The Cowandilla Community Room is a dedicated art exhibition space located conveniently near Adelaide’s CBD.

The venue includes a spacious hall, a connected kitchen, a stage, microphone, projector screen, tables, and chairs. The walls are equipped with an art wire hanging system, and we also provide display cabinets and easels for your use.

Please note, this venue is unstaffed, so you will be responsible for managing your exhibition, including setting your own opening hours. The space is yours to utilize as you see fit for your event.

You will be provided with an access card to the building, allowing you to plan your own schedule for opening hours, events, or workshops.

Additionally, your show will be featured in our Westside Fringe Program, which will be published on our website and shared across our social media channels.

Want to try the space before you book?

If you'd like to try the space for a rehearsal session, we're happy to accommodate, provided we can find a mutually convenient time when the facility isn't being used.

Each facility includes the following amenities:

  • microphone
  • tables and chairs
  • high chairs
  • urn
  • kitchens
  • onsite and street parking
  • AV system: connect via AUX cord from your phone or HDMI cord from your laptop.

Please note that a Public Liability Policy with a coverage of $20 million is required.
