FaceTime calling and music streaming

The holiday season is almost here, so join us for a class on how to video-call loved ones and stream music for festive gatherings.

Learn how to video call using FaceTime or Messenger on your smart device – plus how to use camera settings, filters, add contacts and more. To help make your celebrations extra special, we’ll explore music streaming apps such as Hoopla, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube so you can develop your own unique playlists.

This course is open to beginners, however some familiarity with navigating a smart device is required. Ensure you know your device passwords to enable downloading of relevant apps from the App or Play Store.

Please bring along your tablet or smart phone. A limited number of iPads and Android Tablets will be available to use on the day if required. Don’t forget to bring along your library barcode and pin.

When: Saturday 3 December, 1.30pm – 3.30pm.

Where: Learning Centre, Hamra Centre Library.

Skill level: Beginners to intermediate.
