Youth Week Movie Night: 'Suzume' (PG)

Join us for a special screening of 'Suzume', the newest film from Makoto Shinkai, director of hit films 'Your Name' and 'Weathering with You'.

Sign Squad

Ever wanted to learn Auslan - Australian sign language? If you're aged over 12 then this is for you.

Sessions are free (no experience necessary) and will be conducted by a qualified Deaf instructor in collaboration with The Deaf Butterfly Effect.

Young Writers' Group

This is for writers of all genres and abilities - whether you're halfway through a novel or just beginning a collection of short stories or poems, this is a place to come and develop your talents, seek feedback, or just write independently. For ages 12 to 25.

Youth Craft and Art Space

Are you aged 12 - 25 and interested in developing new art and craft skills while having fun through self-expression?

Come and use the free equipment and supplies at our Youth Craft and Art Space. Resources include a sewing machine, Cricut machine, badge maker and regular art and craft supplies. Also look out for our maker workshops to learn new art and craft skills and build connections with others.

Get involved in our reading challenges using Beanstack!

Premier's Reading Challenge

The Premier's Reading Challenge, introduced by the Premier in 2004, encourages students to read more books and enjoy reading in order to improve literacy levels.

The Challenge requires students to read 12 books between the beginning of the school year and early September.

The library has labelled books to help you locate those on the list. You can search the catalogue too using the term 'Premier's Reading Challenge' or 'PRC'.
