Baby Time
Perfect for children from birth to 18 months. These sessions include songs, rhymes and stories for children and their caregivers.
You can choose to bring your own shaker, scarf and a comfortable mat for you and your child (e.g. yoga mat).

Story Time
Enjoy stories, songs and crafts. Recommended for pre-school aged children, 3 - 5 years old.
Auslan Story Time - West Torrens Library (in the Children's area)
In collaboration with Deaf Connect, Auslan Storytime sessions are provided for deaf and hearing children and families, offering a fun, interactive and inclusive storytelling experience.
These sessions are presented by a Deaf person and translated into English via an interpreter.
These sessions will be run during our regular Story Times.

Kaurna Story Time - West Torrens Library (in the Children's area)
Join Drew and Matt from 'Walking Together with Kaurna' for an hour of cultural immersion. This child paced experience will include learning about and holding tools and artefacts, as well as Aboriginal stories and games for children.
These sessions will be run during our regular Story Times.

Little Bang Discovery Club
Little Bang is a free 4-week, hands-on science program for 4 to 5 year olds and their caregivers held at the West Torrens Library.
It combines everyday objects and experiences with genuine scientific enquiry methods that children will enjoy. Each family will use their library card to borrow a Little Bang Discovery Box filled with activities.
Blocks, Books & Babies
Enjoy a fun morning of play with your baby and toddler, while catching up with friends.
Explore the soft play, ball pit, and play equipment together. Stop and build with some bricks, snuggle together, and read a story.
Suitable for ages 0 to 4.

School Holiday Program
Our school holiday program (SHP) offers a range of activities and events during the school holidays. The program is available approximately two weeks before the holidays begin.
