Are you a friendly, helpful and reliable person who would enjoy setting up and packing down chairs, tables and art materials to enable a group of residents to attend Art Class?

The Wellbeing Hub supports residents to improve their overall sense of wellbeing and connect with other members of the community. Each week the Art Class allows participants to meet other people in a fun, friendly, and creative environment where they can learn new skills and improve existing ones.

If you are a sociable person who is keen to set up, chat and help people feel included, we would love to hear from you! You would also get to attend Art Class with participants.

To apply for this role you will need:

  • excellent people skills
  • physical ability to move tables and chairs with another volunteer’s assistance
  • ability to maintain professional boundaries

You will also need to either have, or complete:

  • National Police Clearance
  • Working with Children check
  • Manual Handling training

All certificates and training can be provided by the City of West Torrens at no cost to the volunteer.
