Are you a friendly, responsible and reliable person who would enjoy attending cafes and eateries with a group of men aged 50+?

The council’s Ageing Well Program, supports residents 50 years and over to connect with their community. Our Ageing Well For the Fellas Volunteer supports council residents at regular self-run social catch ups visiting local venues every month.

If you are a sociable person who is happy to chat and help people feel included, we would love to hear from you!

To apply for this role you will need:

excellent people skills
to understand the needs of older people
access to a mobile phone
ability to maintain professional boundaries

You will also need to either have, or complete:

National Police Clearance
Working with Children check

All certificates and training can be provided by the City of West Torrens at no cost to the volunteer.
