The Waste and Resource Recovery Team is available to attend your school to talk to staff and students about waste, recycling and resource recovery. Advice can also be provided on waste management systems best suited to your school. 

Sessions for staff and students

The City of West Torrens has engaged KESAB Environmental Solutions to deliver site specific waste sessions funded under the State Government’s Wipe Out Waste (WOW) program. Council has made funding available to subsidise the cost of these education sessions for schools to access additional activities such as incursions, excursions, and bin system support that are not funded by the State Government’s WOW program.

Resources available

Free food waste caddies and rolls of compostable bags are available to help schools recycle food waste. For more information contact the Project Officer - Waste and Resource Recovery on 8416 6333.
