We will be joined by local author, Kristin Martin who will be sharing her beautiful picture book, ‘Where Shall We Travel Today?’.

National Simultaneous Story Time

Every year in May, the Australian Library and Information Association organises National Simultaneous Story Time to support reading and literacy.

National Simultaneous Story Time aims to promote:

  • the value of books
  • Australian writers and publishers
  • activities in public libraries and communities around the country.

In 2026, National Simultaneous Story Time will take place on Wednesday 27 May with the book 'Luna Roo: the Kangaroo Baller' - written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, and illustrated by Jake Minton.
