Native Plant and Shady Tree Giveaway

Council hosts a Shady Tree Giveaway and Native Plant Giveaway each year. 

The Shady Tree Giveaway seeks to increase tree canopy cover and greening on private land by giving away a limited number of advanced trees to the community.

The Native Plant Giveaway also provides native plants to the community to help make our suburbs greener, biodiverse and more climate resilient.

The giveaways are usually held in late May, however further details are still to be confirmed.
