Door-to-door service

Our community bus service is provided by a dedicated team of volunteers.

The bus can collect you from home and drive you to your local shopping centre and other community venues where our programs are delivered. Passengers can nominate to use the bus service weekly, fortnightly or on a casual basis and volunteers will assist with carrying your shopping bags to your front door. Walking frames and other mobility aides can be accommodated on the bus and wheelchair access is available on request.

Cost

$4 donation per person for a return trip.

Passengers are required to register for this service via the Community shopping bus registration form or by contacting our Community Transport and Resource Coordinator info@wtcc.sa.gov.au

Note: This service is available for adult residents living in West Torrens. Passengers must be able to board and disembark the bus independently and without assistance. Priority is given to residents who are travel disadvantaged, aged or have a disability.

*Due to storage restrictions on the bus, shopping bags are strictly limited to two per person
