John Andrewartha

Presented to an individual adjudged to have devoted a large part of his/her life to community service and to have made positive voluntary contributions to the life of the West Torrens community.

President of the West Torrens Historical Society for more than 25 years, John has been integral in helping preserve and record the history of West Torrens.

He avails his time to numerous community groups to speak about history and the area and takes history tours for those who are interested.

John is also an active member of the Adelaide West Uniting Church and has been since he was a child. He leads worship services, takes part in singing groups and helps out whenever there are things to be done.
