Community Christmas tree

The big, bright, beautiful, hand-made West Torrens Community Christmas Tree is coming back in 2026. We’re asking you to help decorate it with pom poms and stars.

Here’s how to get involved

Make poms poms and /or stars

Colours: Any colours, especially bright colours

Materials: yarn, felt, fabric, cotton and other water-resistant materials.
Please do not use paper or cardboard as the decorations will be exposed to weather.

Size: minimum 5cm, maximum 15cm

Drop off: deliver your decorations to the West Torrens Library by Tuesday 24 November.

Enjoy the tree:The West Torrens Community Christmas Tree, covered in community made decorations, will be on display 1-30 December 2026 at the northern end of West Torrens Library, overlooking the beautiful West Torrens Memorial Gardens.
