Learn to create a beautiful mosaic flower stobie pole art for your street to enjoy.
Over two workshops, talented community artist Mignon Clift, will share her amazing skills and teach you how to design and create some beautiful flowers to be installed onto your stobie pole – creating more colour and art for our streets whilst learning new skills and creating a wonderful conversation starter and perhaps new connections on your street.

How to register
Step 1
To register for the Mosaic Flowers Stobie Pole workshops you will first need to apply to SA Power Networks to check if your stobie pole is eligible by completing the SA Power Network Pole Painting Application Form.
This includes:
Name, number, email, number of Stobie poles (one only for this project) location of Stobie pole, photo - full height from top to bottom of Stobie pole - a description of what you intend to do (mosaic flowers).
Step 2
Fill in the Mosaic Bird Stobie Pole workshops application form. This will require you to upload your permission letter from SA Power Networks.
Other things to note
- These workshops are available to West Torrens residents only.
- Participants must be 18 years or older.
- You must be able to attend both workshop dates.
- All resulting Stobie pole mosaic birds will be photographed and included on the West Torrens Stobie Pole Art Gallery for others to enjoy.
This is part of our Wellbeing program and, as such, is a joint project between council and Preventive Health SA.
