Join us for tonnes of free entertainment! Climb into big trucks, drive an electric go-kart, bounce on inflatables, check out the model train display and much more.

You can even ride your bike in, and have a go on the BMX track!

Food, coffee, and ice cream will be available for purchase.

Getting there

Limited carparks will be available at this event and there will be changes to traffic conditions. We recommend catching public transport or cycling in.

Parking: Please note the Apex Park carpark will not be available to the general public. A small temporary carpark will be available adjacent to Apex Park from 9am - 2pm. Please note, this carpark can only be accessed when travelling west along Burbridge Road. Upon parking, individuals must walk to the push button crossing on Burbridge Road to gain access to the event.

Public Transport: Bus Stops 12A and 12B on Burbridge Road and Stop 12D on Davis Street

Cycling: venue accessible via Breakout Creek bike path and bike racks onsite between playground and river bridge.

Parking

Apex Park carpark (enter when travelling east via Burbridge Road) will have 12 x parks available for those with a Disability Parking Permit. Please view the site map via the link in the 'event snapshot'.

Site

This event will all take place outdoors on grass. There is a sealed path that leads from the facility to the main event site and provides access to the toilets (permanent accessible block), playground, tennis courts and BMX tracks.

Along with a permanent accessible toilet block, there will be a 16-pan temporary block installed for the event.  Images of toilets can be found here(PDF, 123KB).

There will be access inside the Apex Park Facility, which will hold a model train display.

Activities

This event will have a silent hour between 9.30am and 10.30am, where drivers will avoid making noise (i.e. honking of horns). After this hour, music will be amplified through the site.

Information about some activities is below:

  • A variety of trucks will be onsite - children must be accompanied by an able-bodied adult who can assist their safe entry and exit from vehicles.
  • Motorised go karts
  • Inflatables - all require users to climb or jump
  • BMX track for beginners and intermediate rider
