Australian sporting legend, Brett Maher is stepping away from the basketball court and his job as a fire-fighter to launch his debut junior reader novel ‘The Adventures of Jack Gibson’.

Blending heart-racing adventure with emotional depth, Brett’s aim with this new book series is to ignite the imaginations of readers aged 6 to 14.

Come and hear Brett talk about courage, determination, and community spirit - qualities he demonstrated representing Australia at 3 Olympics and now shows in his role at the SA Metropolitan Fire Service.
