About the book
Her current historical fiction novel, ‘A Shimmering Thread’, is the story of embroiderer Clementina, daughter of a flax and linen production family from Abruzzo. When her traditional way of life is lost, Clementina takes a chance on coming to Henley Beach in South Australia, hoping that her embroidery skills will allow her to create a new life for herself and support her remaining family in Italy.
