Torrens to Darlington Project - consultation
Published on 08 June 2021
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project is the final piece of South Australia’s multi-billion dollar North-South Corridor (NSC).
The South Australian Government (Department of Infrastructure and Transport, DIT) has announced that the hybrid+ option is the preferred way to deliver the T2D Project, which will see a combination of tunnels, lowered and ground-level motorways, as well as overpasses and underpasses at key intersections to successfully complete the free-flowing transport route.
Throughout 2021 DIT will progress a range of assessments as part of our project planning and the development of the Reference Design. To help inform this work, they are currently conducting a community survey.
To help the West Torrens' community have a better understanding of the plans DIT is proposing, information displays will be popping up at two local locations:
- 16 June 2021 - Thebarton Community Centre, 8.30am - 10am - DIT project team in attendance to answer questions.
- 21 - 25 June 2021 - Hamra Centre Library foyer (library hours) - information stands and displays only.
