Temporary closure of Linear Trail southern path
Published on 29 April 2022
As part of Stage 3 of the Breakout Creek redevelopment, the southern path of the Linear Trail will be temporarily closed while SA Water builds a new path. Works will include demolishing the existing path, removing materials and debris and constructing a new path for cyclists and pedestrians.
The northern path will remain open and available to the public and detours will be signed on Seaview Road and Tapleys Hill Road.
When it’s happening
The southern path of the Liner Trail will be closed from Monday 2 May, with construction happening Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, and some works on Saturdays, if needed. This stage of the project is estimated to be complete by mid-August when the southern path of the Linear trail will be available to the public again.
SA Water aims to keep construction impacts such as noise and dust to a minimum.
