Resurfacing works - South Road

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport will be undertaking resurfacing works on South Road between Bennet Avenue, Melrose Park and Glengarry Avenue, Glandore as part of the River Torrens to Darlington Project (T2D).

What to expect

As of Sunday 7 May 2023, works will commence on South Road between Edward Street and Bennet Avenue, Melrose Park on the Southbound carriageway. Works on the Northbound carriageway are expected to commence following completion of the Southbound works, in late May, weather permitting. To minimise impact to road users, works will be carried out at night, Sunday to Friday between 6pm and 7am.
