This year, we are hoping to bring colour, joy and the spirit of the festive season to the local area by creating the first ever City of West Torrens Community Christmas Tree.

We’re looking for knitters, quilters, sewers, felters, crocheters, embroiderers and weavers to create squares, shapes and other beautiful fabric and wool decorations.

What to make: Anything that we can hang on the tree that meets the following requirements -
• Colours: Green, red or pink.
• Size: Minimum size 5cm x 5cm, maximum size 15cm x 15cm.
• Materials: Natural fibres are preferred such as wool, cotton, silk and linen.

Donate materials: If you don’t have time to make but want to get involved, you can drop off some wool or fabric and we will distribute.

Drop off your hand made contributions or material donations to the Hamra Centre Library by Wednesday 17 November 2021.

So get creative, get your making hands busy, start crafting with a friend or a group, or use it as a way to relax on your own.
