Grassroots Grants

The Green Adelaide Board is providing a second round of funding for its Grassroots Grants program, which will support individuals, volunteers, community groups and other bodies working on local projects that contribute to improved management of the environment.

Round one (2020-21) saw 47 different organisations, schools and volunteer groups across metropolitan Adelaide share in grant money, including a verge greening project in Mile End undertaken by local residents and a local cafe owner. 

Grassroots Grants are available in three categories:

  • $2000 to $10,000
  • $10,000 to $50,000
  • $50,000 to $150,000.
