You're invited to bring your friends and family and get your hands dirty!

Join us for a community planting event along the River Torrens at Lockleys where we need your help to plant 4,500 native seedlings.

ABC's gardening guru Sophie Thomson will also be leading fun, informative and hands on sessions to help build native bee hotels (BnBs) for the site as part of this event. This is part of a wider program where throughout winter eight councils along the River Torrens will be hosting events like this to build BnBs and plant seedlings to provide habitat for native bees that live around Adelaide and the Mount Lofty Ranges.

A free sausage sizzle will be provided for volunteers on the day, with warm drinks available for purchase. Free activities for the kids.

When: Sunday 8 July, 2018

Time: 10am-2pm

Where: Tracey Crescent, Lockleys

To register contact the City of West Torrens on 8416 6333 or register through Eventbrite
