Interested in Quilting? Orange Tree Quilters is a charity quilting group that meets regularly at the Hamra Centre Library. The Orange Tree Quilters are a friendly bunch of people who are dedicated to having fun and are always looking for new members and extra help. The group exists to provide quilts and other associated craft products for people in need in our community. The name was chosen because the orange tree represents "generosity".
The group has gifted over 750 quilts to:
- Heart Kids SA/NT, Ronald mcDonald House
- Women's Crisis Centres
- West Torrens Council, Women's & Children's Hospital
- NICU
- Grandparents for Grandchildren
- and many others
The group currently has lots of opportunities to get involved with quilting.
