We’ll get through COVID-19 together
In these challenging times, your Council has taken measures to ensure that we not only continue to provide as many services as possible, but help to ease the financial burden many of you may face.
Please remember that we’re with you in these days of uncertainty, we’re here to help, we’d love to be of service, albeit in an online manner – and together, we will get through COVID-19.
In the meantime, stay safe, stay positive and take good care of each other.

What you can to do
While we miss seeing our residents face to face, at this time we ask for you to stay in touch as much as you can online. Check back on a regular basis to our website and stay in touch via Facebook. If you don't have access to these channels, contact us during normal business hours on 8416 6333.
Stay safe. Stay well.

All playgrounds and outdoor gyms within West Torrens have now been re-opened after each park was cleaned and (most importantly) safety checked after being closed for a number of months.
Now that parks are open, we remind everyone to maintain social distancing and good hygiene practices to ensure everyone stays healthy. We have installed signage to provide health safety tips, including the fact that social distancing and gatherings of more than 10 are still in force. The use of hand sanitiser before and after playground use is recommended and, if you have capacity, wiping down equipment before and after play is advised.
We are undertaking a risk assessment to determine a cleaning regime for playgrounds and equipment.
The Commonwealth Government has released the COVIDSafe app to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
The new COVIDSafe app is completely voluntary. Downloading the app is something you can do to protect you, your family and friends and help save the lives of other Australians.
