Drop in to the Hamra Centre Library between 4pm and 5pm any Friday for Friday Fun.
It's a great way to end the school week.
Suitable for youth aged 10 and over.
Please note: Friday fun runs during school terms only.

Our school holiday program runs during every school holidays offering a variety of free fun activities.
- Parents and caregivers must stay with their children during these sessions.
- The program is available approximately two weeks before the holidays begin.

Premiers Reading Challenge
The Premier's Reading Challenge introduced by the Premier in 2004 encourages students to read more books and enjoy reading in order to improve literacy levels.
The Challenge requires students to read 12 books between the beginning of the school year and early September.
The library has labelled books to help you locate those on the list. You can search the catalogue too using the term "Premiers Reading Challenge" or "PRC".

The Children's Book Council of Australia selects the top Australian books in a number of fields including Youth Fiction and Non-Fiction. The awarded books are celebrated in mid August.

The Australian Refugee Association offers a free Homework Help Club in the Library's Learning Centre. This service is available to high school students who are refugees and have been in Australia for less than five years.
