A ‘family owned, community minded’ company, Romeo’s Retail Group has been part of West Torrens for many years with stores in Lockleys and Brooklyn Park.
This group is heavily involved with local charities, community groups, sporting clubs and other not-for-profit organisations, and it’s the support that Romeo’s provided to the West Torrens Road Safety Group in 2017 which earned this business this award.
Romeo’s provided sponsorship for the Road Safety Group to educate primary students at both Cowandilla and Lockleys Primary Schools about road safety by providing funds for the production of a road safety calendar featuring students’ artworks.
In addition, the Lockleys and Cowandilla Primary Schools received West Torrens Community Group Awards for their active participation in the road safety calendar project and support of the Road Safety Group.
