Each year the City of West Torrens presents a number of awards at an Australia Day ceremony. These awards recognise voluntary efforts and positive contributions made by individuals and groups in the local community.
There are two categories of awards:

- City of West Torrens Australia Day Awards

Nominations for Australia Day Awards can be made via the Citizen of the Year website or alternatively you can complete the City of West Torrens Australia Day Nomination Form when the Awards open each year.
