Free catch-up vaccines

For all individuals aged 10 - 19 years

All individuals aged 10 - 19 years will need an assessment of their immunisation status to clarify their vaccination history; check the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). Information will be entered into the AIR if it has not been recorded and catch-up vaccines provided if needed.

Refugees and other humanitarian entrants aged 10 - 19 will need an assessment of their immunsation status. Once an assessment of any existing vaccination records and other relevant clinical information is undertaken a catch-p plan will be developed. The objective of a catch-up vaccination is to complete a course of age appropriate vaccinations and provide optimal protection as quickly as possible.

For refugees and other humanitarian entrants aged 20 years and over (ongoing)

All refugees and other humanitarian entrants aged 20 years and over will need an assessment of their immunisation status. Once an assessment of any existing vaccination records and other relevant clinical information is undertaken a catch-up plan will be developed. The objective of a catch-up vaccination is to complete a course of age appropriate vaccinations and provide optimal protection as quickly as possible. Contact HAIMS.

For non-Medicare card holders immunisation histories will need to be reviewed offsite before immunisation can occur. These need to be translated and legible and emailed to admin@haims.com.au
