STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, with art! 
Explore your inner designer, architect, engineer or builder through a range of hands on fun. 
Ages:   5 – 12 years.

Finger knitting and journaling
Enjoy a crafty afternoon through art journaling or finger knitting.

SPELD workshop – Teaching your child to read
Join Sandy Russo from SPELD as she shares her knowledge in this seminar; our story readers will keep your children busy with activities in the adjacent Sun Room. 
Ages: Adults only seminar with activities in the adjacent Sun Room for children of attendees.
Venue: Hamra Centre Library Auditorium and Sun Room, 1 Brooker Terrace, Hilton.

Crumbs: Make it a fresh snack 
Join us as we explore seasonal Autumn foods that are healthy.
Ages: 10 – 17 years.
Venue: Plympton Community Centre, 34 Long Street, Plympton.
Time: 2pm – 4pm.
If transport is required meet in the Hamra Centre Library foyer, 1 Brooker Terrace, Hilton at 1.30pm, returning to the Library at 4.30pm.

Little Day Out 
Pack a picnic and join us in the garden for art and craft, junkyard play, sporting activities and a special story telling tent. Little Kickers will be joining us for a demo of their soccer program for kids 18 months to 7 years. For more information about Little Kickers visit littlekickers.com.au.

Collaging art workshop 
Join Ela from Kids+Art+Space to learn the art of collaging.

Puppet show with Sue Harris: ‘Bears, bears, bears’ 
This puppet show combines pantomime, music and puppetry. Meet Edwina (a teddy bear who gets up to tricks), Sir Leopold (who loves conducting), Bernard G. Honeypot (who just cannot get to sleep), and Honey Bear on her picnic.
Ages: 18 months – 9 years.

Colouring in – Autumn inspiration 
Bring your family to colour in the shades of Autumn.

Come and try drumming 
Exploring rhythm and rhyme, space and time, march to the beat as you hum to the drum with Mistress Drummer Mary Tréès.

Friday 28 April

Little Day Out: Beach 
BYO picnic and enjoy the beach outside the West Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Build a sandcastle, explore the beach for sea treasures, play beach cricket and learn about beach safety. There will be a barbecue for a gold coin donation as well as fruit and water. BYO towel and bathers.  
Ages: 0 – 17 years.
Venue: West Beach Surf Life Saving Club, corner Seaview Road and West Beach Road, West Beach.
Time: 11.30am – 2pm.
No bookings required (unless transport is required).
