The 2017 Bay to Birdwood Run will be held on Sunday 24 September with a maximum of 1,700 vehicles have been entered in the event. Commencing from Barratt Reserve in West Beach, vehicles will start arriving in the area from approximately 6am and are scheduled to leave Barrett Reserve for Birdwood, via West Beach Road, from 8.30am.
To ensure the safety of entrants and members of the public, Council have put temporary parking restrictions in place in addition to the existing permanent parking controls along West Beach Road. On Sunday 24 September, parking will be prohibited from 6am to 12 noon along the northern side of West Beach Road from the western Council boundary to Tapleys Hill Road. Charles Sturt Council will also have similar controls in place in the western section of West Beach Road.
Signs will be placed along West Beach Road prior to the event for use on Sunday and removed in the week following the event.
